SHE shunned Sydney for Melbourne, and the sun came out to shine on Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen on her arrival yesterday.
The $37 million clothes horse flew in from Los Angeles to be greeted by a paparazzi pack.
She was protected by burly security guards, including a phalanx of Australian Federal Police officers.
The stunner showed she’d done her research for her first visit Down Under, arriving at the airport in a grungy AC/DC T-shirt.
Both Healesville and Melbourne zoos were on stand-by in case Bundchen wanted to visit, but the sanctuary won the day.
Earlier, the model was holed up in her five-star hotel, reportedly to watch her US football star boyfriend Tom Brady play his NFL game on the telly.
Tonight, she’ll launch her Ipanema footwear collection, with proceeds going to a campaign to preserve waterways in the Amazon Basin.
The thongs will be on sale at Novo outlets and Myer.

She is using the Brazilian natives to market shoes to attract consumers to buy thinking it is for good cause, but in reality only a measly 5% of the proceeds is actually going to the cause. Last year alone she made Millions from the sale of her shoes. People who have bought it bought it thinking it was for charity! Stop using a cause to promote products to add money to her fortune. Yes, she's really brilliant at smoke screening people!
